  • 07.02.17 - Safer Internet Day
    Today is Safer Internet Day and everyone at Elsley has been celebrating it through the week. Children have attended an assembly, the digital leaders made a SID film, we are running 2 E-Safety workshops for parents and Year 1 have been learning a SID song.
  • 07.02.17 - Year 3 pizza making
    As part of their Italy topic, Year 3 made pizzas today. The children wore chef hats and topped their pizzas with a variety of toppings including pepperoni and sweetcorn.
  • 06.02.17 - Year 5 Anti-Slavery Workshop
    Year 5 took part in a workshop delivered by Just Enough UK on Anti-Slavery. The children learnt some interesting facts and will now design posters that will be displayed at a John Lewis department store, who are working in partnership with the charity.
  • 03.02.17 - Year 2 trip to RAF Museum
    Year 2 were so excited to be visiting the RAF Museum in Hendon today as part of their 'On the move' topic. The children got to explore different aircrafts and pretend to pilot them. They also took part in a workshop where they got to design rota blades.
  • 03.02.17 - Year 1 meet Zoolab's interesting animals
    Alan from Zoolab visited our four Year 1 classes to give the children an opportunity to learn about and hold a snail, cockroach, bearded dragon and a snake! The workshops linked to their Animal topic 'Stomp' and the children found it thrilling.
  • 27.01.17 - Year 6 trip to The Houses of Parliament & The London Eye
    Year 6 had a superb trip into Central London. They listened to debates inside the Houses of Lords and Commons and took part in a political party workshop. They then captured exciting sights of famous landmarks on The London Eye.
  • 25.01.17 - Year 4 Chamberkolli workshop and tea party
    Year 4 had great fun taking part in a Chamberkolli workshop and tea party. They dressed up in traditional Indian clothes and tried tea from Chamberkolli. The workshop links to their current topic where the children are learning about India.
  • 18.01.17 - Magic Numbers Course
    We run a Magic Numbers class for parents to help them support their children in Maths. It's every Wednesday morning and is free! Today's focus was on recognising numbers. Contact the office if you are interested in participating.
  • 12.01.17 - E-Safety Parent Workshop
    We are running 2 E-Safety workshops on Wed 8th February at 9am and 2:30pm. The workshops will highlight up-to-date awareness of online issues and offer advice on how to keep your children safe when they are online or using social communication.
  • 11.01.17 - Strengthening Families Course
    We had another great turn out at our Strengthening Families Course this week. Parents find it really useful and supportive.
