Nursery
Welcome to Nursery at Elsley Primary School, where our youngest pupils begin their exciting learning journey in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. In Nursery, children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity and discovery.
Our curriculum places a strong emphasis on the Prime Areas of Learning: Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, and Physical Development. We recognise that these areas are fundamental in helping children build relationships, develop confidence, communicate effectively, and become active, independent learners.
Our dedicated team supports the development of social skills, early literacy, and numeracy through engaging and purposeful activities tailored to children’s individual needs and interests. We provide a language-rich environment where children are encouraged to talk, explore, investigate, and express themselves confidently.
At Elsley, we place great importance on helping every child feel happy, secure, and valued, while inspiring a lifelong love of learning and providing the strong foundations needed for future success.
