  • 07.11.16 - Yr 5 trip to Wembley Central Mosque
    Year 5 enjoyed a trip to Wembley Central Mosque this morning as part of their RE topic. The children found the experience very interesting and educational.
  • 01.11.16 - Rastamouse creator visits Elsley
    We were really honoured this week to have Rastamouse creator and writer Michael de Souza deliver fantastic workshops to classes in Reception and KS1. The author got children and teachers involved in some 'irie' storytelling and poetry.
  • 24.10.16 to 28.10.16 - Half Term
    We wish everyone in our community a happy half term. School for children will begin again on Tuesday 1st November as Monday 31st October is a teacher training day. Happy Halloween!
  • 20.10.16 - Year 1 Diwali Assembly
    Year 1 children performed their assembly today which retold the Diwali story and celebrated the Hindu festival through songs and dancing. All the children performed really well and the performance was enjoyed by parents and children.
  • 20.10,16 - Year 6 Metal Sculpting Workshop
    Yr 6 showed off their handy skills this week by participating in a DT workshop, where they planned, designed and sculpted humans and animals out of metal. It was a fantastic day and the sculptures are currently displayed on the junior playground.
  • 20.10.16 - Year 2 trip to Welsh Harp Environmental Education Centre
    Year 2 enjoyed their visit to the Welsh Harp Environmental Education Centre. They went exploring in the woods, searching for minibeasts and investigating the different habitats they could find. They even had the chance to go pond-dipping!
  • 18.10.16 - Sainsbury's Silver School Games Award
    We are very proud to have been awarded the Silver Sainsbury’s School Games Award for our commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport in 2015/16. Big thanks go to our PE specialist, Mr Wilke.
  • 12.10.16 - Primary Proms at the Royal Albert Hall
    Key Stage 2 Pupils had the fantastic opportunity to see talented young musicians at The Royal Albert Hall this morning. Thank you to the Music For Youth Primary Proms for putting on such a phenomenal concert of music. We were all very inspired!
  • 11.10.16 - London Youth Conference
    A group of Year 5 children were given the opportunity to attend this year's London Youth Conference which explored the impact of volunteering. The children learnt an awful lot and will be showcasing this in a forthcoming Phase Assembly.
  • 06.10.16 - Year 4's trip to The British Museum
    Year 4 visited The British Museum as part of their Ancient Egypt topic. The children enjoyed a workshop on the Egyptian afterlife and then had the opportunity to study real life mummies and canopic jars in the museum's galleries.
