News Stories- 08.12.16 - Breakfast Club
We now have a Breakfast Club at Elsley hosted by Let Me Play. The club runs from 7.45am - 8.50am. An After school club will start from 4 Jan 3.30pm - 5.45pm daily. - 04.12.16 - Winter Discos

Year 1 had an awesome time staying late after school today to experience a real camp fire. Linked with their Light and Dark topic, the children roasted marshmallows over the fire, played parachute games and made sparkly lanterns. - 24.11.16 - Kat Francois Workshop
We are so excited to have poet and playwright, Kat Francois visiting Elsley in December to deliver a workshop to Year 4 on Windrush, linked to their 'Journeys' topic. For more info, visit our Spoken Word Guests page under 'Curriculum'. - 17.11.16 - Yr 3 trip to Tesco
Year 3 visited Tesco Brent Park for a workshop on Fairtrade. The children walked around the store, searching for different Fairtrade food items from tea and coffee to fruits and chocolate. They then had the chance to sample some fruits and vegetables. - 14.11.16 - Year 6 Citizenship trip
Last Friday, Year 6 visited Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre to learn about various different areas of citizenship. The different workshops included: public transport safety, healthy food and drink and Emergency First Aid techniques. - 11.11.16 - Remembrance Day
Elsley staff and children gathered together to hold a minute silence today to remember those who have lost their lives in times of war. This week the children have also been making poppies and writing poems. - 10.11.16 - Parent Consultation Day

Year 2 had a special visit today from 2 police officers as part of their 'Heroes' topic. They learnt some interesting facts, got to try on riot gear and have a look inside a police van. - 08.11.16 - Strengthening Families Parenting Course
We had a great turn out today at our Strengthening Families Parenting Course. It was the first time the course was held at Elsley and we had 25 parents/carers in attendance. Many commented how uplifting and social it was.
