  • 23.04.18 - International Evening
    We are excited to be hosting an International Evening on Wed 2 May, 3.30pm-5.00pm. It will be a celebration of cultural diversity & learning about different countries.Tickets on sale from Mon 23 April in the playground at the start and end of each day.
  • 29.03.18 - Reception Library visit
    Reception have also been down to the Library at the Civic Centre this term for a storytelling workshop and a chance to practice their reading skills.
  • 29.3.18 - Year 4 cinema trip
    Year 4 had a brilliant trip to the cinema for a private screening of 'The Iron Giant' based on their current topic book, 'The Iron Man'. The children really enjoyed the film and thought it was a great way to end their topic.
  • 29.3.18 - Rocksteady Spring Concert
    Three Elsley bands rocked it with 2 fantastic performances for the school this week! Well done to all of our talented musicians and huge thanks to Mark from Rocksteady Music School.
  • 29.3.18 - Year 2 author visit
    Year 2 had a visit from Kate Cunningham, author of Vlad and the Great Fire of London, the book they are reading in class. Children took part in an interactive story reading, re-enacting what it was like to be a firefighter in 1666 and looked at artifacts.
  • 29.3.18 - Nursery library visit
    Nursery had an exciting visit to Brent Civic Centre Library where they had a reading workshop themed around ‘weather’ books.
  • 29.3.18 - Year 4 author trip
    Year 4 enjoyed a trip to the library where they took part in a reading workshop with ‘Dragon Detective Agency’ author, Gareth P Jones​. The children also got a chance to ask him lots of questions about what is is like to be a famous author.
  • 29.3.18 - Art Exhibition Success
    Children, parents, residence and community supports all came down to our wonderful Art Exhibition that celebrated the work children created during Arts Week. Everyone commented how on impressed they were with the range and standard of work on display.
  • 16.03.18 - Yr 5 trip to the National Gallery
    As part of Arts Week, Year 5 visited the National Gallery and had a fantastic time exploring, learning about and sketching different paintings including Bathers at Asnières which they are studying in class.
  • 16.03.18 - Year 3 Extended Day
    Last week, Year 3 enjoyed their extended day based on their topic of ‘Italy’. They made Italian food, danced, played games and learnt about Italian language and culture.
